Drone Engineering Internship

Here you find the details for the internship named "Drone Engineering Internship" in the company UUG.AI.

Details
Name: Drone Engineering Internship
Company: UUG.AI
Description:

Build a drone from scratch and bring Kerberos Agent onboard

Join UUG.AI for a hands-on electronics internship that takes an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from initial design to an integrated video platform. Combine electronics, 3D-printed components, mechanical assembly, and onboard computing in one end-to-end project.

What you will work on
- Design and develop a drone from scratch, selecting compatible electronics, propulsion, flight-control, camera, and onboard-computing components.
- Design and 3D print the components needed for the drone, then assemble and integrate the mechanical and electronic parts.
- Bring up and test the UAV, documenting wiring, power requirements, component choices, and safe operating procedures.
- Install and configure our core product, Kerberos Agent, on the onboard computer to capture video and expose streams from the drone camera.
- Connect the video streams and recordings to our automated workflows for processing through AI models.
- Validate the complete path from camera capture to AI output and deliver a documented prototype and team demonstration.

About you
- You are pursuing or hold a bachelor's or master's degree in electronics.
- You enjoy hands-on electronics work and bringing hardware and software together.
- You are interested in UAVs, 3D printing, embedded computing, and video technology.
- You work carefully, test assumptions, document progress, and communicate clearly.
