As a Manufacturing Engineer in the welding shop, you will be responsible for creating and managing production processes to safely, qualitatively, and productively assemble new welding groups and integrate them into a new or existing layout. Determining standard times through time studies is an essential part of this.
You will request the necessary gauges and tools and monitor their timely delivery and start-up. In addition, you will provide detailed documentation, such as drawing up SOPs and work instructions.
You are actively present on the work floor, translating theory into practice and making adjustments where necessary. In doing so, you always pay attention to ergonomics and safety, so that welders can work optimally and efficiently to deliver perfect quality.
You design welding cells with a lean layout, focusing on logistics, movements, and relocations.
Project work, new technologies, and process control tools are familiar to you.
An important aspect of your job is processing and analyzing data from various channels. You know how to interpret this information quickly and convert it into concrete and efficient actions to continuously improve production processes.
You are a team player who, together with colleagues, wants to take the welding shop to the next level and supports the smooth integration of new products.
