As a Quality Engineer, you will manage all laboratory processes and ensure effective quality risk containment. You will guarantee compliance with IATF 16949, CSR, and all applicable standards. Reporting to the Plant Quality Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain top-quality performance.
Your responsibilities
• Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and timely testing and product release.
• Optimize lab workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Implement high-priority quality actions and follow up on deviations.
• Support audit preparation and conduct MSA studies.
• Analyze defects using SPC and Pareto methods, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
• Manage calibrations and lead projects such as automation initiatives and contingency planning.
• Lead and develop the laboratory team: training, workload distribution, and performance management.
• Utilize SAP for material flow, test requests, and quality data tracking.
• Drive root cause analysis and manage 8D problem-solving for lab-related issues.
• Deliver KPI-driven improvements and foster continuous improvement across the lab.

• Degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering or relevant experience within an automotive related quality environment.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA6, and automotive Core Tools.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English and Dutch.
